Flue liners

Our flexible flue liners are Hetas approved, made in UK. Suitable for use with solid fuel, wood, gas and oil appliances, with of 30 years warranties. Our products are made to give years of safe service in your home.

Installation

How we work is simple, we get or you get the stove or fireplace we fit it. Contact us and we will arrange to come round and discuss the possible options and what is most suitable. We can advise on where to get your fireplace from whether it be from ourselves, a showroom, a DIY store or online. All that done, we fit it.

Fitting Hearths, Wooden Surrounds, etc.

We are also able to fit fire surrounds, hearths, Back Panels, mantles and all fireplace accessories to complete your new fireplace installation. Contact us and we will arrange to come round and discuss the possible options and what is most suitable. We can advise on where to get your fireplace from whether it be from ourselves, a showroom, a DIY store or online. All that done, we fit it.

Making Fireplace Inglenook

The “breakout” to open up the fireplace (stove fitters call this the builder’s opening) is usually, for the stove fitter, a simple process that typically takes 2-3 hours for a small recess, a couple of hours longer for a medium recess/inglenook and up to a full day for a large inglenook (assuming two people in all cases).

Chimney Sweeps and Services

A wood stove requires regular maintenance: proper cleaning of the chimney to remove creosote deposits, regular inspection of the installation, and handling of ashes.

Chimney Cleaning. We value your family’s safety. Most flues should be safety inspected on an annual basis for any soot deposits or debris blockage which could lead to dangerous carbon monoxide poisoning. We clean and inspect your fireplace from the chimney top to the hearth. We proceed by cleaning your chimney with the brushes that are best suited to your appliance and chimney. We follow this process with the removal of the creosote and ashes from your appliance.

Chimney Lining

Our teams of fully-qualified surveyors and installers provide a full chimney investigation, chimney maintenance and chimney lining repair service, resolving chimney problems quickly and efficiently with minimum disruption to you and your building.

We can guarantee that all of our produced hardwood logs are kiln dried average to below 20%, which means they meet all the highest recognised standards in the UK, Germany and Scandinavia.
